WordPress is undoubtly the most used Content Management System in the web today. Actually it was developed for personal blogging purpose and latter on people started using it as CMS . Its simplicity, plugins availability has made it so popular among the programmers and designers that most of the sites are now days powered by WordPress. And I myself is one of the who uses it from blogging to CMS.

Here, I am going to list top 5 sites which uses WordPress as CMS. This is my personal list. What is yours?

National Geographic Society is one of the largest non-profit scientific and educational institutions in the world. The National Geographic Magazine is the official journal of the National Geographic Society. And this is the dutch version which uses wordpress as CMS.

Mozilla is one of the most used browser in the internet.This is the official site of mozilla which uses WordPress to showcase its new projects in a way that is visually appealing and easy to navigate.

4. Harvard University

Harvard is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States and currently comprises ten separate academic units. It is also the first and oldest corporation in the United States. This university uses WordPress to power the Harvard Gazette’s entire website.

This is the official site of the Easton Hockey Company and is powered by WordPress.
